ARROW SAFETY
All arrows may become damaged while in use, including wood, carbon and aluminum shafts. It is very important that all directions be followed to prevent injury to yourself and others. Always shoot a shaft of the proper spine for the draw weight of the bow you are shooting. Under spine arrows could explode causing injury to yourself or others.
Always inspect arrow for any damage prior to shooting! Flex the shaft in a gradual arc and visually inspect for delaminating, splitting, cracking, or any visual damage. Holding the shaft at both ends, twist the shaft, first one way and then the other, looking and feeling for any type of damage. Damaged shafts could fail completely upon release and cause injury to yourself or other. Never shoot a cracked or damaged shaft.
Follow all safety instructions completely; they are there for your safety.
Points of Safe Shooting - Never shoot a damaged or cracked shaft
After loading an arrow into the bow, do not point it at yourself or others. It may discharge accidentally and cause serious injury to yourself or others.
Do not shoot unless the target is visible and you are aware of what is behind the target area.
Be conscious of shooting technique and sequence. Careless handling of the bow and arrow and/or distractions can lead to serious injury to yourself and others.
Always check all arrow components prior to shooting. Loose components can cause unbalanced arrow flight and partial dry firing of the bow.
